Our science unit is "Building Things: Structures".   The children have been hard at work creating marble mazes!  The children were asked to think of a theme for their maze - so many scary and exciting ideas!  From jungles and mud holes to scary ghosts and a circus, students created a unique and detailed cover for their mazes.  Each child was given a large pizza box to create the maze inside.  They mastered the art of drawing a maze and transferred their maze to the inside of the pizza box.  The construction phase was brilliant.  Walls, corners and dead ends - maze walls and dead ends were measured, cut and glued in.  Next, the children will need to paint the inside of the maze and decorate it according to their chosen them.
