About Westpark Elementary School

School Profile

West Park Elementary School has experienced significant changes since the 2002/2003 school year.  It is an older school (originally constructed in 1957) which has received extensive renovations (completed in the fall of 2002).  It is located close to Westpark Middle School and Red Deer College.  Providing a safe and caring learning environment continues to be the highest priority at West Park Elementary where:
•    Every child is treated with respect as an individual
•    New ideas and thinking creatively and innovatively are embraced
•    Respect, responsibility and good manners are a primary focus
•    The staff, students, parents and business partners are committed to fostering life-long citizenship skills, work ethic and learning.

West Park Elementary continues to provide a rich educational experience for a diverse, multi-cultural school population.  Our students are supported by a variety of home environments.
